It is a question that many of our parents and teachers like to ask us. The most common answer is that we study because we want a better life. This is logical: under the highly competitive market, we are only able to compete and find a good job if we have a stable foundation of knowledge. A good life will not be possible without a good job. Thus, study hard seems to be the only and easiest key to the road of wealth for many of us.
Other reasons why we need to study is beyond the reason of survival. Some of us may naturally like to study certain things they like. For example: study music or drawings. Such studies fulfill their identities and sense of accomplishment- enhancing their meaning as a human being.
