暑假，我和妈妈一起去杭州玩，见见我做梦都想去的西湖。
站在湖边，水平静得像面镜子。一阵微风吹来，水面泛起层层微波。抬头望望天空，又望望湖水，觉得它们简直可以相提并论。蓝天衬托着白云，犹如一件蓝衣服，别上了许多白色的徽章，特别显眼。湖上行驶着许多船，一眼望去，犹如一张纸上，写满了密密麻麻的字。从一个亭子绕过去，就到了荷花池边。
站在池边，荷花映入了我的眼帘。荷叶碧绿碧绿的，圆圆的，像小姑娘的脸蛋。叶上隐约能看见一颗颗露珠在滚动，它们“跳”起了“舞”，就像真的舞者一样。荷花粉红粉红，花瓣是两头尖尖角。气味浓浓的，小朋友的脚，常常会被那香味勾住。我陶醉了。
忽然，头顶一阵“呼呼呼”声，我抬头一看，原来是蜻蜓啊!它们成群结队朝荷花池这边飞来，在池塘上空“呼啦”一下散开了，东飞飞，西飞飞。池底的鱼儿们兴许受了干扰，也游到水面上，惊恐地四处观望。确定没有危险后，鱼儿们才放心地嬉戏。有的扑打着尾巴，一会儿游到池底，一会儿浮上水面;有的三个一伙，五个一群地挤在荷花下面“乘凉”;还有的在欢快地吐着泡泡……几分钟过去了，蜻蜓觅食成功，飞走了。
