I'm a high school student.
I'm 16 years old, studying in a senior high school. Our school life is really intensive, as everyone works hard to prepare the university entrance exams. I get up early everyday, and have my breakfast prepared by my mom. Then I go to school and start my intensive study. It is almost the same on the weekends. After school, I go back home and do my homework after dinner. I an exhausted to go bed afterwards.
How poor I am as a high student!
Now, the new semester has begun for more than one week. I gradually adapt to my new life in senior school. In senior school, my biggest feeling is busy, for I have classes all the day and teachers leave us a lot of homework.
In the morning, I have two periods for morning reading, Chinese and English, beginning from 7:00. After that, I have four periods in the morning and four other in the afternoon. There are many more subjects than in middle school, Chinese, math, English, physics, chemistry, history and so on.
Sometimes, I am afraid of seeing so many textbooks in my desk. In addition, the contents are much more difficult than before. Math and physics are the most difficult ones for me. No matter how hard I work, I still can’t do well in them, which makes me frustrated.
Therefore, in the new beginning, I must change my learning strategies to make my work more effective. All in all, my new life in new school is good and rich, though it’s busy.

My First Day at Senior High School
Today is my first day at senior high school.Everything seems new to me---- new school,new teachers and new classmates.
I am arranged to sit at the third row in the class.The classmate next to me is Mary.She is a new comer too.She is kind and we become good friends immediately.The head teacher is Miss Zhang.She looks nice,but she is strict with us in her first lesson.Besides,she gives us a lot of homeworks .It is really horrible!.
Anyway,I enjoy the first day in this school and I hope I can study better everyday and make progress quickly here.
ew high school life is both exciting and challenging for me. first, i'm in a new environment with my new teachers and new classmates. many of them are all from top middle schools in the area. i'm so excited to meet them all. the new school building is designed creatively and attractively. i loved it . my new teachers are nice and them teach very weel. they are always willing to answer my questions at the end of the class. second, i have to take some new subjects and choose some subjects myself. i liked that because it gives students freedom and i can develop more in my areas of interest. third, i'm glad to join into some of the clubs and activities in my school. they are very interesting and i could learn more social experience through those activities. i'm proud to be in this new school and i wish that i can unleash my potential and achieve my best in this school.
