那是高二年级下学期的一天里，蒙老师因为骨折住进了医院，不能来学校上课了，而刚巧在这个时候学校校长宣布：“两个星期后进行一年一度的运动会!”校长话音刚落，全校立刻沸腾起来，这可是我们第一次参加运动会呀。
接下来的日子里，我们学校各个班级都进入了运动会的准备工作。每到下课，操场上运动的同学多起来了，声音大起来了，有的在扔沙包，有的在跑步，有的在跳绳，还有的在跳远。只有我们班锻炼的同学最少，因为没有蒙老师的严格要求和正确指导，虽然代班主任也叫我们出去锻炼，可是大家把她的话当成耳旁风，全班就像一盘散沙。有同学还说：“这么大热天，出去锻炼不怕中暑呀!”
