周未的天气格外晴朗，妈妈参加单位的创文活动，去社区当文明志愿者。妈妈穿上红马甲，戴上小红帽，神气十足！我迫不及待地对妈妈说：“我也想为创建文明城市贡献一份力，你让我也到小区里参加志愿活动吧。”妈妈爽快地答应了。
我们来到美豪家园社区，一位工作人员还给我发了一顶小红帽，上同写着“志愿者”三个字。我把它戴在头上就是一名志愿者了，一种自豪感由然而生。工作人员给我布置了任务，查看小区里有没有随意丢弃的垃圾、烟头、小广告……
于是，我就开始在社区里寻找垃圾的“踪迹”，果然不远处的草丛里，一团白色的东西在飘忽不定，我三步并成二步地向目标靠近。走近一看，不知是谁把一袋垃圾丢在了草丛里，我刚想伸手去捡，却看到几只苍蝇在上下飞舞，还有阵阵臭气传出，我不由捂住了鼻子。“这么脏，要不要捡呢？”我有些犹豫不决。几只讨厌的苍蝇“嗡嗡嗡……”似乎在嘲笑我，向我挑衅，好像在说“不敢了吧，胆小鬼……”这时，我看到阳光照射下自己的身影，影子的头上还戴着一顶小帽子。对，我是一名志愿者，几只臭苍蝇休想吓得着我。我毫不犹豫地捡起那袋垃圾，飞速地把它们丢进了垃圾桶。接着，小烟头、小纸屑都休想逃过我鹰一样的眼晴。
