Welcome to our class and welcome to our evening party.First of all,let me say a few words about our class.There are ** students in our class.And most of us are good at Englisg language.All of us think that English is a kind of universal language which is widely used in different fields.With the development of the global economy, it is becoming more and more important,especially for young people.In our free time,we usually learn English by reading magazines,watching TV,listening to the radio and etc.We take every chance to practise our English.That is why we are here to have an English party with our foreign friends.We are going to show some plays,sing some songs and etc.Of course,most of the programmes will be performed by our classmates and foreign friends,and will be performed in English.Let's enjoy ourselves.HGope everybody have a good time here.

Fiona is my neighbor. She turned twelve recently and her parents held a birthday party for her. I was one of those invited.
The party began at about three in the afternoon. There were about twenty of us children gathered in Fiona's house. We were all dressed in our best clothes. Everyone, especially Fiona, wore a happy smile.
We gave our presents to Fiona and she happily opened them. It must really be exciting to receive all those presents.
After that Fiona's mother served us soft drinks and delicious tidbits. We then played some games like "Musical Chairs" and "Treasure Hunt". The winners were given prizes.
At about four-thirty Fiona's mother brought out the birthday cake. It was beautifully decorated with pink and white icing. Twelve colorful candles sat in the middle of the cake. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to Fiona after which she blew out the candles and cut the cake. We clapped out hands eagerly.
We helped ourselves to slices of the delicious cake. Then we continued our games.
Finally at about six in the evening the party came to an end. We were all tired but happy. The parents of the other children came to collect them. I helped Fiona and her mother clean up the mess we made. After that I walked home which was only two doors away.
Last weekend, Tom had a birthday party. Many of his friends came to celebrate with him. They brought presents and had a lot of fun together.
Tom's mother prepared a delicious cake and snacks for everyone. They sang "Happy Birthday" and Tom blew out the candles on his cake. Then they played some games like musical chairs and pin the tail on the donkey.
Afterwards, they opened the presents. Tom was very happy and grateful for all the gifts he received. He thanked his friends and hugged them.
It was a wonderful party and Tom had a great time with his friends. He felt loved and appreciated on his special day.
